How a mobile visit works

The same six steps apply whether you are on your drive or stuck in a lay-by.

  • Send us the details

Call 0203 038 8555 or WhatsApp 07719 156806. Give us the registration, your postcode, a photo or message of the dash warning and the countdown miles. You can also use the quote form.

  • We agree a fixed price

We give you a fixed price before anyone sets off. Work starts from £249. If the job turns out to need more, we tell you and agree it first.

  • The technician arrives

They bring diagnostics, common parts and a calibration laptop. In London and the South East we aim to be with you up to 3 hours from when you lock the slot, where a van is free.

  • Live data diagnosis

We read live data from the SCR system instead of guessing from a code. That shows which part is actually failing, and which are fine.

  • We repair the fault

We fix or replace the faulty part on site where we can. If a part has to be ordered, we say so before we leave and agree when to come back.

  • Verify and warranty

We clear the codes, test drive or verify the system, and check the warning has gone for good. You get a written warranty on the repair.

What we can fix on site

Most AdBlue faults come down to one failed part. These are the ones we deal with most.

  • NOx sensors

A common cause of warnings and countdowns. We test the sensor, check the wiring, and replace it if it has failed.

  • Pumps and heaters

A weak pump or a dead heater can stop dosing, especially in cold weather. We test both and replace the one at fault.

  • Injectors

Crystals can block the injector and stop it spraying properly. We check it, and replace it when cleaning will not do.

  • Tanks

Cracked or contaminated tanks, and tanks with a failed sender, need replacing. This is a bigger job, and the part is often ordered in.

  • Wiring and connectors

Corroded plugs and damaged looms cause faults that look like failed parts. We trace them with a meter and repair what is broken.

  • Quality sensors and dosing lines

Wrong fluid or water in the tank upsets the quality sensor. Blocked or kinked dosing lines do the same. We sort both.

  • Countdown and no-start recovery

If the countdown has run out and the vehicle will not start, we can still come to you. We fix the cause, then clear the lockout.

  • Parts that need ordering

Not every part is on the van. Where we need to order one, we tell you before leaving and book a return visit that suits you.

Where we can work

We work on your drive, in your yard, at your depot, in a car park or at the roadside. We need safe working space and room to open the bonnet or get under the vehicle. That is all.

You do not need to move a vehicle that will not start. We come to it. For fleets, we can work at the depot so the van is back on the road without a detour.

On a motorway, do not stop on the hard shoulder if you can avoid it. Get to the next services and call us from there. We have a separate page for motorway services.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to move my vehicle before you arrive?

No. We repair it where it is, even if it will not start. We just need safe space to work around it.

What do I send when I book?

Send the registration, your postcode, a photo or message of the dash warning, and the countdown miles. That lets us agree a fixed price and bring the right parts.

How quickly can you get to me?

In London and the South East, up to 3 hours from when you lock the slot, where a van is free. Elsewhere, we confirm the slot by postcode on the call.

What if the part has to be ordered?

We tell you before we leave. Then we agree when to come back and fit it. The fixed price stays as agreed.

Can you work at night or on bank holidays?

We are open 6am to 9pm, 7 days a week, including bank holidays. Outside those hours, send a message and we will reply when we open.

Will you switch the AdBlue system off to clear the warning?

No. We repair the fault and fit the right part. That keeps the vehicle legal, insured and ready for its MOT.
