If the warning comes on while you are driving
Do not stop on the hard shoulder for an AdBlue warning
A warning or countdown is not an emergency stop. Carry on calmly to the next services or a safe exit, unless the vehicle has lost power.
Read the dash before you switch off
Note the exact message and the miles left on any countdown. A photo is ideal. On some vehicles, switching off at zero means it will not restart.
Lost power or in limp mode?
Pull over somewhere safe, put your hazards on and get out on the verge side if you are on the motorway. Call National Highways or your breakdown cover first if you are in a live lane.

Should I stop on the hard shoulder if my AdBlue warning comes on?
No, not for a warning or a countdown alone. Carry on to the next services or a safe exit. Only stop on the hard shoulder if the vehicle has lost power and you cannot reach a safe place.
Which motorway services do you cover?
Every services on the M25, plus the first services on the M1, M4, M40, M11, M20, M2, M23 and M3. All of them sit inside our London and South East 3-hour window.
What should I send you when I call from the services?
A photo of the dash message, your registration, the miles left on any countdown and which side of the services you are parked on. That lets us bring the right parts.
Is a motorway call out more expensive?
Work starts from £249, the same as anywhere else in our area. We diagnose the fault first and agree a fixed price before any work starts.
